Hi everyone. Nice to e-meet you here! My Chinese name is Wang Anyan, you can just call me Anyan. I was born and raised in Shanghai. I graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with a master’s degree in Comm in 2016. Before that, I have studied in France and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Comm and Info. I can speak English, French, Shanghainese and a little bit Cantonese. Over the past 8 years, I’ve worked in a variety of organizations in Hong Kong and Shanghai, including a multinational company, an American international NGO, a Business school and a Chinese NGO. My job is mainly about project management. I’m a very easy-going and reliable person. Both my foreign colleagues and Chinese colleagues enjoy working with me and my foreign friends love spending time with me. Nowadays, China’s role in the globalization is extremely important. Like you, more and more people from all over the world want to learn and use Chinese as a second language. So, I think teaching Chinese is absolutely a perfect way of mutual communication and understanding. As for my specialties, I can do Chinese calligraphy, paperfolding and so on. In terms of teaching experience, I have already started to give Chinese lessons to two foreign university students since November last year.
